During the summer 2007, Heptacube completed a security revision on a Government of Canada website. Several problems were fixed including SQL injection and code execution. Each problem was addressed and solutions were proposed to help increase the security of their web application.

Thanks to a grant from the Bell Fund, a member of our team was loaned out to Mbiance Inc. in order to support their development team. The project was in collaboration with Pixcom and Télé-Québec. The results can be seen at the Télé-Québec website under the heading "Ça manque à ma culture".

We proceeded, during the summer, with a complete overhaul of the transactional system at Les Laboratoires Druide. In effect, we delivered a CMS integrating features like automatic price management according to currency. Moreover, the new distribution management system allows for electronic sales management by distributor.

For the past few months, Heptacube worked for Système Affaire à Domicile to manage and increase the quality of their database models. The growing traffic on the sites solution-slim.com and solution-biz.com required PHP and JavaScript code reengineering. We also improved the performance of the interface with the SQL database server.

With increased data integrity, more than
25 000 people visited the two sites within the last three months.
Finally, we unified an important part of the administrative needs of this business into a secured web portal. Our web solutions saved our client time and money in resources management.
