What is Diffpuppy? Diffpuppy is a web based application to highlight recent changes in web pages. It is also widely used to share bookmarks and draw statistics on popular productions. Diffpuppy can be considered as a social bookmarking website. Once a page is stored online, it can be shared and categorized by properties such as the rate of change, popularity or simply by the tag associated with the URL. The main function of diffpuppy is to seach for changes on websites that don't provides RSS feeds. With diffpuppy, you can be alerted by email if one of your submitted URLs has important changes. You own the tag. Diffpuppy works with tags to categorize a group of bookmarks. When a new tag is created, the user becomes the administrator. This means that he is the only one who can add or delete URLs on this tag. The user can also decide to nominate admins to help him manage the content of the tag. The consultation of a tag remains public and URL can be viewed by everyone. |
